Here's a funny still from my cameo in the film. I look like I'm farting, and I make the best faces EVER! On the right is the HILARIOUS Allan Mcleod! It was hard keeping a straight face during his lines!

Outside Fake Gallery before shooting my cameo scene! @ Fake Gallery, Los Angeles. The scene takes place at an "art opening" for Allan's character, "Arnold". Love that they found a location called "FAKE" for that.

w/ Johnny Pemberton, Robert Gibbs, Matt Jones, Mary Kate Wiles, Matt Bush, Allan Mcleod, Nora Kirkpatrick, and Me! Also my Life After Myth character designs w/ animation by Puny!

Ned & the Life After Myth gang chow down.

Ned tries to get back into the spotlight.

Life After Myth Character Line up

Check out the Dreamworld Tumblr & the full Life After Myth animated trailer!
Here's a prop fake business card design I made for Whit's character, Oliver in the film.

Rough sketch of Oliver (w/ butthead).

It's an honor that Whit consulted w/ me and loosely based his character Oliver off of me and my cartoon pitching experiences, down to using my art & designs, and even the name Brainfarts for Oliver's "animation company"! (I'm planning on coming out w/ a collection of my comics called "Jeaux Janovsky's Brain Farts"!) Met lots of great people on that shoot, and was happy they let me be a small part of it.
According to Dreamworld director Ryan Darst:

"Thanks for coming out on Wednesday. Your scene is already the stuff of legend."

Can't wait til Dreamworld comes out! Enjoy the trailer in the meantime!

Good to be the King!

Yo,
Couple good things poppin' off in the Jeaux pipe-line:

My Joe Murray/Kaboing Congratulatory Piece wound up on his personal journal on none other than my Birthday, March 17th!!!
Here's what he had to say:

You can check it out here too! http://joemurraystudio.com/blog/?p=2711
Pretty cool, eh?
It was a very great way to cap off an already epic & great birthday! Many thanks Joe!
You should go check out Kaboing TV, the 2nd episode of Frog in a Suit is out for your perusal.

I'll also post it here, cause Joe is just so darn nice for posting about lil yours truly!

I'm finishing up on a bit of freelance back to back. Wish I could show off a few glimpses of sneak peeks from the projects, but I'd better keep em under wraps for the moment. I'm sure you'll be hearing about them, soon as I get word I can spread some images and info around.

I recently had a great time on my birthday, Mar.17th-18th, spending it at Disneyland and staying at the D-Land hotel w/ my gf, Ava.

Outside Fake Gallery, a location for Dreamworld

The day before my b-day, I spent it by acting in a small scene in my pal Whit's feature film, Dreamworld. IMDB page here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1853548/ Met lots of great people on that shoot, and was happy they let me be a small part of it. Whit sorta based his character off of me, so you'll be seeing a bunch of my stuff in it!
According to Dreamworld director Ryan Darst:
"Thanks for coming out on Wednesday. Your scene is already the stuff of legend."
:D
Here's the Dreamworld teaser trailer:

DREAMWORLD Teaser from SNEAK ATTACK on Vimeo.

Got a bunch of other things on the horizon and in the works! Workin' on setting up doin' a bunch of animated music vids for friends once freelance lets up.
One I'm proud to mention is my boy Weapon X, whom I've proudly known since our early days at Blockbuster together. He's layin' down some genuine, true hip hop and I can't wait to see what type of concepts we'll come up with!
Here's a recent vid of his you should all peep out.

Back to the drawing board lab for more Freelancin' Romancin'! BTW, I am available for freelance, so please hook a brother up!
See the side-bar to get in touch, or for more info. ;)

Myth-ery Loves Company

WOW.

Remember Whit Hertford's Life After Myth project I did some character design work on? Previously mentioned HERE & HERE.

Here is the LAM trailer we are unveiling on-line!!!

LIFE AFTER MYTH - trailer from Whit Hertford on Vimeo.

I am still very amazed by this trailer, and am so very proud to be part of Whit's vision & project. Julia Vickerman, Nick Bachman (he did the crazy awesome BGs), & Puny Entertainment did a Mythological sized job! AWESOME.

Here are a few High Rez screengrabs for your viewing & desktop pleasure:

As always, Click all to make Godzilla sized.

Don't just stop there!
Why don't you check out the brand spanking NEW Life After Myth Tumblr site? There's lots of LAM goodies there, and hopefully I'll begin posting up some early Myth design work on there during the on-coming weeks!

You know you guys wanna see this on the small-screen! I know I do. ;)

Enjoy & please help us Spread the Myth!

Myth-tastic!!!

click to embiggify!

YES!

A while back, I did some design work on my pal Whit Hertford’s Life After Myth project!

About Life After Myth:
“Creator Whit Hertford brings you the story of a has-been Loch Ness monster trying to deal with life after his star has faded and finds that misery loves company when he begins attending group therapy for washed-up Myths.”

Well, this little monster is growing up to be a full blown Godzilla!!!

We just got the fully cooly rendered up animated trailer back from PUNY, and it came out completely jaw-dropping. It looks amazing!!!

Above are a few stills from the trailer! Yip! Jump!

I am so PROUD to be a part of this project! WooHoo! Great job Whit, Julia & PUNY!!!

wowie-zowie!

Passin' Time w/ Brian Posehn

Last Friday Oct.30th, Cristina & I wanted some laughs, and we found them right near our home in the Valley at the Madrid Theatre in Canoga Park for a night of Brian Posehn Stand Uppery!

It was hilarious!

The evening was hosted by the very funny comedian (and former roomie of Brian P's) Ngaio Bealum. The 2nd comedian of the evening, Tony Dijamco, was pretty funny too.

I'm a big fan of Brian's work in Animation, Video games, TV, Film, and especially his work in comics! I've always thought it would be cool to collab on something with him, so I brought along a piece of art... you know, just in case I had the chance to meet him.

And I totally got to meet him (and his halo)!

It was AWESOME. He's pretty approachable, and a very down to earth cat. None of that Hollywood B.S.

This is a copy of the drawing (sans the text) I gave to Brian of him as a Stoner, Gaming Yeti. (just in time for Halloween.) AND HE LOVED IT! Drop dead, hands down, flipped out with a big ass grin!!! He said, "This is AWESOME!" and then asked for my contact info.

Sly fox that I am, naturally, I had my biz card and promotional postcard already clipped to the back!

He loved himself as a yeti and seeing his eyes, big ass grin, and excitedness on his face left me with a totally bad ass good feeling the rest of the nite (and weekend).

This was the original design for “Mel”, a stoner, gaming Yeti in my pal Whit Hertford’s cartoon idea called Life After Myth, which is you guessed it, about Myths, monsters & legendary creatures and what happens when the rest of the world doesn’t care about them anymore.

It’s a hilarious idea, and I had a blast developing Myth w/ Whit. Check out the rest of the designs HERE!

Hopefully, Brian will get in contact w/ me... it would be THE COOLEST to collab with him on a cartoon or comic project sometime in the future!!!

That would be awesome.

Best nite before Halloween EVER!!!
